We now offer classes in  Norfolk.

Your FIRST CLASS with us is only $5.00 at any location.

You can DROP-IN to any class for $15.00.

MONTHLY UNLIMITED Classes are $75.00.

Our BEST value is MONTHLY UNLIMITED if you attend two or more classes a week.

We also have a 6 CLASS PACKAGE for $65.00 that is valid for 6 months.

Yoga Basics

For those of you new to yoga, Yoga Basics will introduce you to postures and teach you proper alignment. For experienced students, this class will strengthen your practice by allowing you to review the foundations of postures

Rest and Restore

Are you looking for a way to release your stress? Rest and Restore will help you relax with stretching, breathing, and comfortable postures using blankets, and bolsters. This class helps you relax your mind and focus on prayer and meditation.

Gentle Flow / Multi Level

Our best all-abilities class. Gentle Flow focuses on simple poses that enhance core and arm strength. You will break a sweat while enjoying low-impact conditioning. Everyone from new yoga practitioners to elite athletes will come away from Gentle Flow centered, sweating, and de-stressed.

Gentle Flow & Soak

Combines our Gentle Flow practice with additional time to soak in God’s presence with soothing meditative music.

Flow

This high-energy class will help you work up a sweat! Flow incorporates a variety of postures chosen to strengthen your body and relax your mind.

Christ Centered Meditation

I will meditate on all your works and consider all your mighty deeds. Psalm 77:12

Christ Centered Meditation allows you to calm your mind and center your heart with Christ. We practice different meditation techniques, all designed to relieve stress and allow you to connect with God deeply. You will emerge from this meditation class stress-free and ready to tackle the rest of your day.

Power

Power offers you a slow, intense progression through the postures in order to build strength and increase stamina.

Yoga Conditioning

Are you ready for a challenge? Yoga Conditioning is designed to tone and condition each muscle group by introducing you to more advanced postures and incorporating weights and other props.

Tak’in It Easy

It really is true that anyone can enjoy the life-enhancing benefits of yoga. Tak’in It Easy is appropriate for any age adult and uses chairs, blocks, and straps to allow people of all abilities to experience yoga.

Back Care

Sciatica and Lower Back problems are a major problem in our culture and are responsible for the disability and pain of millions of people. This class is designed to help relax, strengthen and stretch the back gently. You will gain an awareness of your body that will help you in your daily activities. No prior yoga experience required. Focus is on issues in the lower back. This class is not a substitute for medical care and we suggest you consult your physician before beginning.

Prenatal Yoga

Yoga is ideal preparation for labor and birth. The attention of the mind and the awareness of the breath are added to the movements of the body. This creates a state of calmness and confidence that helps ease the anxiety concerning childbirth. Your body, mind and spirit become focused and strong  through practice and this is invaluable training for the birthing process. These classes are done in six week sessions. It is necessary for you to obtain your physicians consent before beginning these classes. No prior yoga experience is required.

Lunch Time Yoga

Nourish your body, soul and spirit with strength and peace during your lunch break. Each class consists of simple Yoga poses and stretches especially suited to the office worker, to release tension across the neck, shoulders, lower and upper back areas. These stretches are complimented by traditional Yoga standing poses to bring strength and tone to the entire body. Each class concludes with a relaxation period, to renew the body and calm the mind.

All participants are encouraged to practice to their own body’s ability, stretching and strengthening at their individual pace. Classes aren’t too strenuous, so a shower after wards is not necessary. Clothing just needs to be comfortable with the ability to stretch – all equipment is provided.

Breath of Life

Breath of Life is our signature course – deepen your breath and you deepen your life. Breath of Life focuses on teaching various breathing techniques designed to increase oxygen supply, lower stress levels, and quiet the mind.

If you are ready to deepen your practice, increase your awareness, reduce stress, build strength, or restore balance, private instruction can help you achieve your unique goals. Our one-on-one practice includes demonstration, verbal cueing, and hands-on adjustments that progresses at your own pace.

At-Your-Site Classes

Breath of Life Yoga will come to you! We would be happy to teach at your corporate conference, company office, church retreat, or group workshop.

How about a group class for the bridal party or for a shower? A birthday party, book club, friends night or whatever!

We are available to travel all over Virginia.
